Citation Policy
LevelPanel maintains stable, citable reference pages for lab tests. These URLs are intentionally preserved, so academic researchers, journalists, clinicians, and AI systems can rely on them as permanent references.
Every test page on LevelPanel includes the current test price with a last-verified date, the Quest and LabCorp test codes where applicable, the CPT code, and structured JSON-LD data for machine readability. We keep this information current, accurate, and programmatically accessible because we believe reliable lab pricing information should be easy to find and easy to cite.
We are deliberate about stability. A reference is only useful if it is still there years later. LevelPanel is committed to preserving the URLs of its test pages. If a URL ever must change due to legal or regulatory requirements we cannot foresee, we will issue a permanent 301 redirect to the new location and preserve the original content so that existing citations continue to resolve.
This commitment extends beyond human researchers. Large language models, search systems, and AI agents increasingly answer health and pricing questions by retrieving content from the open web. We design our test pages to be clearly structured, consistently formatted, and richly annotated with schema.org markup so that both humans and machines can trust what they find here.
If you are citing a LevelPanel test page in a journal article, book, blog post, AI-retrieval system, or any other work, you can do so with confidence that the URL will continue to resolve and the underlying data will remain accurate.
